These Terms and Conditions govern the air conditioning, refrigeration and appliance repair services provided by AC Repair Service in Dammam (“we”, “us”, “our”) to customers (“you”, “the customer”) in Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Qatif and the surrounding Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Services we provide
We provide repair, maintenance, installation, removal and related services for air conditioning units, refrigerators, freezers and washing machines, for both residential and commercial customers. We also buy and sell used air conditioning units.
Service availability may vary by location, appliance type and technician availability. We will inform you before booking if we cannot service a particular unit or area.
2. Booking and appointments
- Bookings may be made by telephone, WhatsApp, or through the contact form on this website.
- Appointment times are estimates. While we aim to arrive within the agreed window, traffic, weather and preceding jobs may cause delays. We will notify you if a significant delay occurs.
- Emergency and same-day requests are subject to technician availability and may carry a different rate.
- You may reschedule or cancel an appointment at no charge by notifying us before the technician is dispatched.
3. Inspection, quotations and pricing
- A diagnostic and inspection fee applies to each call-out, starting from SAR 30. The exact fee depends on location and time of visit and will be confirmed when you book.
- Where you approve the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee is normally deducted from the final repair cost.
- We will provide a quotation for the required work before beginning any repair. Work will not proceed until you approve that quotation.
- If, during the repair, we discover additional faults that materially change the cost, we will stop and seek your approval before continuing.
- Prices quoted are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated, and may change if parts prices change.
- All prices are in Saudi Riyals (SAR).
4. Payment
- Payment is due on completion of the work unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- For commercial contracts and scheduled maintenance agreements, payment terms will be set out separately in that agreement.
- Ownership of any supplied parts remains with us until payment has been received in full.
5. Parts and materials
- We use genuine or equivalent-quality replacement parts. Where a genuine part is unavailable or would cause significant delay, we will tell you and offer an alternative for your approval.
- Replaced parts may be disposed of by us unless you ask to keep them at the time of the repair.
- Parts supplied carry the manufacturer’s warranty where one applies. Warranty periods vary by part and manufacturer and will be confirmed with you.
6. Workmanship warranty
- We warrant our workmanship on completed repairs. The applicable warranty period will be confirmed in writing at the time of service.
- The warranty covers the specific fault repaired and the parts we supplied for it. It does not cover new or unrelated faults, or the general condition of an ageing appliance.
- The warranty is void where the appliance has been tampered with, repaired by a third party, misused, or damaged after our visit.
- To make a warranty claim, contact us with your invoice or service reference.
7. What the warranty does not cover
- Faults caused by electrical supply problems, voltage fluctuations or power surges
- Damage caused by water ingress, pests, corrosion or environmental conditions
- Normal wear and tear, or the failure of components we did not replace
- Appliances that have reached the end of their serviceable life
- Consequential loss, including spoiled food, business interruption or discomfort
8. Customer responsibilities
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance and to the outdoor unit where applicable.
- Ensure a responsible adult is present during the visit.
- Inform us in advance of any known hazards at the property, or of any prior repair attempts on the appliance.
- Move fragile or valuable items away from the work area before we arrive.
- Ensure electricity and water supply are available where the work requires them.
9. Older and pre-damaged equipment
Appliances that are old, previously repaired by others, or already in poor condition carry a higher risk of further faults developing during or shortly after servicing. Where we identify such risk, we will inform you before proceeding. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, or for the failure of unrelated components on ageing equipment.
10. Limitation of liability
- Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the service charge paid for the work in question.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, spoiled goods, or inconvenience.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
11. Cancellation
- You may cancel free of charge before a technician has been dispatched.
- If a technician has already attended and carried out an inspection, the diagnostic fee remains payable.
- If a technician attends at the agreed time and cannot access the property, a call-out charge may apply.
- We reserve the right to decline or cancel a job where the work would be unsafe, or where the requested repair is not technically viable.
12. Used air conditioner sales and purchases
- Used units offered for sale are tested before handover, and their condition and any applicable warranty are confirmed in writing at the point of sale.
- Valuations for units we buy are provided after physical inspection and are valid for the period stated at the time.
- Delivery, removal and installation for used units are arranged separately and may be charged in addition.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, contact us as soon as possible with your invoice or service reference. We will investigate and respond. Raising a concern promptly allows us to inspect the work while the circumstances are still clear.
14. Privacy
Personal information you provide when booking is used to deliver and support the service. Please see our Privacy Policy for details of how we handle your data.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book is the version that applies to your service. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
16. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising from our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Saudi courts.
